DOI INTHANON NATIONAL PARK .THIS 1,005 -square -kilometer park is located on Doi Inthanon, Thailand's highest mountain .It is part of a mountain range that runs across Nepal , Bhutan , Myanmar and northern Thailand .
The dense forest abounds with lichens and wild orchids and wild birds .The best time to see its waterfalls is May Through November . For wild flowers , it is December through February For birds , it is November through March Getting there : Travel 58 kilometers west of Chiang Mai via Highway No.107 to Chom Thong , then turn right on to Highway No. 1009 to the summit. A good but rather steep asphalt road takes visitors up, thus the vehicle must be in good condition. Visitors will pay an entrance fee at Km.8. |

Visit Wachiratharn Waterfall and enjoy the view of the rainbow hanging in the water curtain , then visit The Royal Highland Project where cash crop and winter flower 're grown in the hugh mountainous areas ,drive through Mhong Village and straight to The King' s & Queen's pagodas to observe the remarkable view of valleys and mountains , then to the peak and walk along the trail walk . Have lunch at the camping ground.
Back to Chiang Mai and drop you at the hotel / guesthouse. |

Drive north to visit the orchid nursery and butterfly farm in Mae Rim District,then drive straight to the elephant camp in Mae Tang . Bananas and sugarcane are available , so buy some and feed them . |
See the elephants enjoy bathing in Mae Tang River and showing their talents by working in timber task and even painting the picture. Then have an elephant ride ( there is the comfortable seat on its back and don't forget to fasten your seatbelt ) then come back to the camp with the oxcart ( it was our transport at the ancient time ) . Have lunch at the camp . Then have a bamboo rafting trip along Mae Tang River for almost an hour .
Then back to Chiang Mai and drop you at the hotel / guesthouse. |

9.00p.m. Walk to another section to see tribes shows .
